Lock Bed Wheels - Fall Prevention
When transferring residents or making beds, please please please make sure their bed wheels are locked when you're done!
A resident attributed her fall to unlocked bed wheels. Thank you!

SRNA/Hospitality Cleaning Logs
Due to declining performance in cleaning task compliance, all SRNA's & Hospitality Aides will be required to sign the cleaning log when on duty (whether you did anything or not). Continue to initial the tasks you completed as normal.
From now on, any shift under 90% compliance will be further audited to see who is not contributing or forgetting to sign the logs. Those people will receive corrective action to hold them accountable.
If you are not one of these people, ignore this message and continue to do an amazing job!

Nurse Aide Expectations Course
A list of nurse aide expectations for activities of daily living, end of shift report & duties has been posted to Relias for all nurse aides and nurses.
This hopefully will help make sure everyone is on the same page as far as what needs to be done!

NEW Fitted Sheets
The trial of the new fitted sheets on 2nd floor is complete. There have been no resident complaints and nurse aides seem to like them as well. Tommy will be ordering more of these non-stretch cotton fitted sheets for 3rd floor as well.

3rd Floor Hoyer Slings
3rd Floor resident Hoyer slings will now be stored in the 3rd floor utility room behind the door!
It just makes more sense to have them stored closer for your convenience. Maintenance installed wall hooks so you can hang them!
